eDiscovery and Legal Technology Solutions for Solo Practitioners and Boutique Firms

Small footprint, big cases?

The legal technology landscape is evolving fast — and smaller firms are often left behind. Brightline delivers tailored eDiscovery and legal technology solutions so solo practitioners and boutique firms can focus on what matters most: client advocacy.

Why Solo & Boutique Firms Choose Brightline

I provide end-to-end discovery and litigation support services designed to free attorneys from the minutiae of the modern discovery process. With a decade of experience and recognized expertise in eDiscovery project management, document review, discovery drafting, and litigation support, I work autonomously so you can stay focused on strategy and advocacy.

At Brightline Discovery Consulting, I believe that effective discovery is about more than technology—it’s about people. I provide tailored, human-centered litigation support services that help attorneys navigate modern discovery challenges with confidence. Unlike large, impersonal vendors, I take pride in offering highly personalized service where your priorities come first. I am vendor-neutral, so you can be confident that I will deliver the best solution not just for each firm, but for each client.

My background includes discovery work in high-stakes litigation such as multimillion-dollar construction disputes, first-degree murder cases, complex medical litigation (on both business and malpractice sides), and discovery for a billion-dollar company. This experience gives me a unique perspective on handling discovery in matters where precision, confidentiality, and efficiency are critical.

By combining cutting-edge discovery technology with a personal, attorney-focused approach and creative thinking, I ensure that every project is handled with care, precision, and a commitment to your success.

Why I Started Brightline

In 2016 I began my career working for a then-new boutique law firm with four attorneys and one secretary-paralegal. The footprint was small, but the cases were big. At first our discovery process was almost entirely manual — tens of thousands of pages, countless sticky notes and flags, piles of responsive, non-responsive, privileged, and redaction-needed documents, and many late nights flipping through page after page until our fingertips were bone-dry. As discovery and productions grew larger and larger this manual process became prohibitively time-consuming and mistake-prone. eDiscovery vendors were extraordinarily costly, difficult to coordinate with, and did not offer flexible solutions to smaller firms (and smaller clients).

Over the years I worked to bring eDiscovery in-house, to provide our attorneys and our clients with solutions tailored to their needs and within the budget of each case. No more complicated, expensive data collection. No more project manager roulette. No more walls of banker boxes stuffed with thousands of pages of production documents, and no more absurd printing bill.

Manual discovery solutions are often sloppy, unprofessional, and highly inflexible. Manual solutions also eat up attorney and paralegal time, which means bigger bills for your clients and less actual advocacy to show for it.

Don’t let the rapidly evolving legal technology landscape leave your small firm in the rearview. Brightline Discovery Consulting will help you remain efficient, focused, flexible, and available to meet the discovery needs for cases big and small.
